Logics Hair Care / Hair Straightening

I am on a hair kick lately, no doubt.  Did you notice?  I read a great article today from CBS News created from an interview that hairdresser David Evangelista did on the Early Show.  I could easily copy the whole darn thing here, but I won’t – go read it, its a don’t miss if you are a heat styling/straightening kind of girl.

I did want to put in my .02 about my favorite straightening support product though – I have been using this Leave-In Conditioning Protector from Logics (a Matrix offshoot) for a couple of months now, and have found it to be the perfect styling product for me in conjunction with my flat iron.  It leaves my hair shiny, not weighted down at all, and really, really healthy looking.  I use it in place of a mousse or gel as well.  I have been a fan of Matrix products for a long time – next to Paul Mitchell, my sentimental fave, they really have the best conditioner line out there.   ;)

Here is the Logics website, but save yourself and turn the volume on your speakers down.  It is loud – the mute button is at the bottom left. ;)  Find Logics products at your local salons – they probably carry it – it is well worth the effort.

hey c.j., yes you dig this logics leave in protector because it rules! first, i’m a male (straight…lol) & i’ve had all different hair styles over the years. i’ve been using this particular hair potion for more years than i will ever admit…so as not to give my age away. when my hair is long i’ve always used this product simply because there is nothing else like it. you use it to straighten, i use it to curl. it’s the best. i currently have a 3 foot long “mohawk” and i’m running out of logics. no salons/stores around me seem to carry this product anymore and i’d rather not use anything else…if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? besides, logics is the best (i think, for me anyway). i’d hate to have to cut my hair just because i ran out of the juice that make’s my hair so lovely (and feel sexy too). i’m glad i found the logics website on line here thanx to you. thank you very much. i was thinking that they went out of business or some other company bought them and changed the formula. i’m happy that that didn’t happen. i’m gonna try to hunt down some more of logics leave in protector so it will continue to keep me and my hair beautiful. truely, there is nothing like it. thanx again, peace, and have fun always, p.

Before applying straightening iron on hair apply a straightening serum on hair to lessen the affect of damage. After applying serum divide your hair into parts with tail comb. First straight back hairs and then come to front side of hairs.
