Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2008 Collection

What’s clearly visible in the Yves Saint Laurent Fall 2008 Collection is the influence of the Andy Warhol era. “Casual extravagance” was highlighted by the colors of Warholian history in time, crushed velvets, plaids and the way the blazers and pants were cut…

Love it! While I like cropped and skinny trousers, I am delighted to see YSL and other designers including fuller cuts. The wide cuts are a wonderful homage to 70′s style.

I think the collection is very sophisticated, yet casully elegant. The cut of the pants is fresh. And I really love the fabrics used in the blazers. I’ll be looking to pose these looks in different ways to my cleints.

I am glad to see more 3 piece suits. I am 23 and love wearing them but they are hard to find except for vintage ones. I only wear YSL suits and love the straight/flared pant he has trademarked. By far my favorite designer.
