The most recently voted off ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant Elina Ivanova, opened up on a conference call about her show experience.
Ivanova was constantly criticized on the show for her lack of expressiveness and how she tended to control her emotions during a photo shoot. She felt the judges played favorites and told reporters, "It’s just not fair".
She goes on to say that she feels she has a lot of potential as a model and she believes the whole control issue was blown out of proportion.
"I think in my personal life I wouldn’t say I’m controlling. The best way I can really describe it… is I think my main issue is just being a little too self conscious and I kind of hold back sometimes because I’m either afraid of looking silly or afraid of stepping out of my comfort zone and trying something new with that thought of ‘Oh, what if I’m gonna fail and how is that gonna make me look,’" Ivanova said.
Now that she’s eliminated from the show, who is she rooting for? Marjorie. Ivanova says that Marjorie has a lot of modeling potential and that she hopes she can just work on getting through the nerves.
When asked if she had any regrets from the show, she said "I guess I would try to let go more, whatever that means."
