Prince William Becomes Honorary Barrister

Prince William, 27, has joined the British Inns of Court as an honorary barrister (or court lawyer). Prince William first attended a church service and a reception. Afterwards, the ceremony was held at the Queen’s room in London’s Middle Court on Monday, July 6, 2009.

The second-in-line to the British throne became the sixth in his family to be called to the Bench. The Queen Mother and Diana, Princess of Wales, were also Royal Benchers.
