Possibly the most refined and artfully created line I’ve seen so far this week is Chado Ralph Rucci. He is original, stunning, and presented a collection that would take a woman from a high-powered day to a highly-charged night.
In the program notes left for editors, Rucci said he was inspired by Pina Bausch, a choreographer who died this summer. Her likeness appeared in the silk gazar dresses. The collection as a whole featured inspired craftsmanship and intricate silhouttes. Even ladders of embroidered “vertebrae” ran along the fronts and backs of many of the gowns.
Check it out.
