First Look: The A-Team Movie

The A-Team, seriously, they don’t make TV shows like that anymore. It wasn’t something earth shattering TV show where you’ll feel like you just had a Eureka moment in life after each episode but it was entertaining, action packed with a side of cheesiness. Years and years later someone thought to make a movie version. Hey, sure why not.

The A-Team cast : Liam Neeson as Col. John ‘Hannibal’ Smith, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton ‘Faceman’ Peck, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson as Sgt. Bosco ‘B.A.’ Baracus and Sharlto Copley as Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock.

I think the boys look good, don’t they? Especially hottie Bradley Cooper, hehe. So what’s the plot of the movie? According to IMDB:

A group of Iraq War veterans looks to clear their name with the U.S. military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed (SOURCE)

I’m pretty sure the movie will retain it’s cheesiness factor but just chalk it up as an homage to the TV series back in the 80′s. We can’t all be watching creatures painted in blue, right? (AVATAR, ♥ it).

To balance the testosterone, Jessica Biel plays Lt. Sosa. Now, she ‘s HOT and can kick major ass. I think the old cast will make some cameo appearances too. Release date is June 11th, 2010.

I hope the whole movie isn’t them trying to clear their names. The charm of the show was their interactions with the civilians they were trying to help. Them being on the run was the dramatic oomph behind the series, but the heart was that these were really good men. I don’t want the cute goofiness of the show to get lost in the explosion!violence!blam! of the modern movie.
