NYFW: Fall & Winter 2010 by Tommy Hilfiger

February 18th was the final day for the tents in Bryant Park.  Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is moving to a new location for next season so Tommy Hilfiger decided to close it out with a star-studded show.  Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck provided the live music and plenty of action for Hilfiger’s Fall & Winter 2010 collection.

The show was filled with classic, understated pieces with some fun little accents.

Models wore winter-friendly booties in shades of red and indigo blue, accented with black and caramel leather:

Those shoes look like they might actually work for cold climates and icy weather…

It looks like we’re stuck with thigh-high boots for awhile – Tommy Hilfiger added his own take on the racy design:

Wrapped skinny belts made their appearance on the runway:

I love the combination of the red belt with the deep indigo blue of the handbag, sweater and shoes.
