I have to admit, when it comes to aesthetics, Sony wins the contest. Hands down. (Photo quality, well that’s another story…) They always come out with the most sleek, thinnest cameras around. They also have the best color selection as well, in my opinion. When I was looking around for a camera before, they were the only ones with a white camera. The other leading brands had none.
So I’m not surprised that the new CyberShot DSC-TX5 from Sony is a gorgeous piece of gadget. It’s extremely thin with 17.7 mm in thickness. But just because its thin doesn’t mean its fragile. In fact, it’s actually a part of Sony’s “rugged” line. The DSC-TX5 is shock-proof (survives 5 feet drops!), dust-proof and water-proof (10 feet underwater for about an hour).
Sony CyberShot DSC-TX5 Features:
- 10.2 megapixel
- 3 inch touchscreen display
This camera will be out in the market by March 2010. No word on pricing yet.
