Katherine Heigl’s dress strap snapped right off when she was accepting her Female Star of the Year Award at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas. First of all, lets overlook the whole “how did that happen?” factor when the only movie I can remember Katherine Heigl making this year was The Ugly Truth. I’m more perplexed by how she managed to have such a massive strap spontaneously fall right off the dress. It looks like it was a very solid strap – and I’m now convinced that she sawed it off beforehand and then re-adhered it with a glue stick so that it could pop at an appropriate moment. I mean, she looks really delighted about the whole situation. But perhaps I am too harsh. Do wardrobe malfunctions happen to real people? Like, ever?
