Betty Draper Has a Blog, Deviled Eggs Recipe

Are you, like me, trying to figure out what to do to keep busy while Mad Men is on hiatus? Wonder no more, because Betty Draper has a blog. (She’s also on Twitter as @bettydraper. Over/under on when it changes to @bettyfrancis?) At her blog, Welcome to the Drapers, she posts everything from videos to old family photos to recipes. Here’s a recipe for devilled Easter eggs – servicey! And timely!

6 hard-cooked eggs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp dry mustard
about 3 TBSP salad dressing or cream

Cut eggs in halves. Slip out yolks. Mash with fork or electric mixer. Add other ingredients, continuing mashing until smooth. Fill whites with yolk mixture. Ready for company!

Always use older eggs when preparing this or any deviled eggs recipe because they shell a lot easier.
