Who Should Play Isabella Blow In Her Upcoming Biopic?

According to British Vogue, there are plans in the works for a biopic of legendary fashionista Isabella Blow. While Blow is definitely a worthy subject for a movie, I can’t decide who should play her. Here, a couple of our bets:

AUDREY TAUTOU

Pros: She’s foreign (because Americans know nothing about high fashion, obvs) and has already played another legendary fashionista, Coco Chanel.
Cons: Andre Leon Talley told Vogue that “[Milliner Philip] Treacy has a great trick up his hat, and it’s going to rock the world, but he cannot reveal it until this major new talent confirms.” Tautou is definitely an established star, not a new talent.

CAREY MULLIGAN

Pros: She’s English, she has already been nominated for an Oscar, and Anna Wintour seems to love her.
Cons: Her boyfriend Shia LeBeouf might show up on set and cause a ruckus.

ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELEY

Pros: She’s reportedly up to replace Megan Fox in Transformers 3, which could mean that she’s looking to branch from modeling into acting. This role would be a better fit.
Cons: Lookswise, it’s a total mismatch.

BJORK

Pros: She has the eccentricity part nailed, and she was surprisingly good in Dancer in the Dark.
Cons: The experience of making Dancer in the Dark with Lars von Trier was reportedly so miserable that Bjork vowed never to act again.

LADY GAGA

Pros: She could probably save the movie a lot of money by providing her own wardrobe. Plus, she’s buds with Philip Treacy already.
Cons: Can she act?

SOME RANDOM PERSON NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF

Pros: Blow’s look and persona were so iconic it might be better for an unknown to fully inhabit the part.
Cons: The niche quality of this movie might require someone with a little more star power.
