What a slap in the face to this amazing Chanel bag. They might be the trend of the season, but that doesn’t mean that you can just slap on a pair of clogs with any old outfit and call it fashion.
Personally, I’m not in favor of the trend to begin with. Clogs are clunky and big, do nothing for the leg, and remind me of going to private school in New England where that’s all anyone wore, along with heavy wool socks and a fleece. Every damn day. Sometimes I think I have more in common with Kurt Hummel than I ever knew…
But I digress. Clogs are no more fashion-forward than Uggs. They’re comfy and if you live in L.A., like me, you can get away with wearing them with absolutely everything, and so you do. But seeing them everywhere does not make them fashion! If everyone wore a garbage bag over their heads and called it a trend, Catherine Zeta-Jones, would you do the same?
