Crocs Can Save Your Life (But They’re Still Ugly)

You know what might be more effective than advertisements of Crocs waiting in the dark to massage your feet? Advertisements pointing out that Crocs save lives. A three year old boy received a massive shock from a faulty hair dryer, but doctors believe that his shoes acted as insulators which prevented him from suffering more severe injury. His mother notes:

“A bright blue bolt of electricity went down his arm and shot out his side. It was awful, he was screaming in agony and shaking… The paramedic said he was really lucky he was wearing Crocs shoes at the time as they stopped the electricity going through his legs and coming out of his feet and probably saved him from serious injury.”

In response, we will consider wearing Crocs in lightning storms. But only lightning storms, and only if they promise not to massage our feet.
