Random Photo: The Paper Crane Origami Dress

Designer Yuliya Kyrpo has created this beautiful dress out of 1,000 origami paper cranes – the ones often made for weddings or other occasions as a symbol of good luck. These paper cranes were made out of copies of the free London daily Metro newspaper. Ecouterre thinks that Katy Perry would totally wear this dress, but I’m envisioning it on Bjork. (Maybe because I ask myself while dressing every day, “What would Bjork do?”) That said, the paper might not hold up so well on a rainy day, but it sure is beautiful.
