Recently, we had the chance to try on some off-the-runway looks from Cynthia Rowley at Fred Segal in Santa Monica. And while the prices may not be wallet-friendly, the shape and style of the dresses were certainly figure-friendly.
Rowley went with boxy shapes this season, tighter up top and just the right amount of give in the hips to create a perfectly Mad Men-high waist. For someone like us, whose waist exists more below the ribcage than parallel with the hipbone, these are a dream come true. Here are some of our favorite items.
