What’s the Deal with Tyler’s Dad Butch on ‘Teen Mom’?

Few things have ever made me cry as much as the episode of MTV’s 16 and Pregnant where Tyler and Catelynn gave their daughter, Carly, up for adoption. They knew that they were doing the best thing for their child, yet their hearts absolutely broke to let her go. However, once Tyler and Catelynn were cast on Teen Mom, we got more of a glimpse into their depressing home lives. In a weird turn of events, Catelynn’s mother April is married to Tyler’s dad, Butch. Butch has been in and out of Tyler’s life and alluded to spending time in prison. But thanks to the good people at Starcasm, we now know exactly what Butch was up to – and what his real name is. According to Michigan state records, Darl Lynn “Butch” Baltierra has been convicted twice for breaking and entering and once each for larceny and home invasion.       OH MY GOSH! I thought the exact same thing when I saw the thumb nail. I thought it was a purposefully bad photo shop of Keanu’s face onto someone’s smaller head, with a mustache. Weird.

    All I can say is that Maci, Tyler and Catelynn have grown up and and taken care of there children. Maci is a wonderful mother and deserve;s the best. Tyler and Catelynn made a really tough decission and did what they thought was best for there daughter. They will struggle with it for the rest of there lives, but in the end they need to remember that they did it for there daughter. As for Amber she needs to grow up and stop treating Gary like a door mat! She is so mean to him. Farrah needs to grow up and be thankful for her family. We all have family issues and we need to deal with them. Both Farrah and Amber need to stop acting like BITCHES and grow up. Sooner or later Gary will walk out for good and move on as he should. Farrah is a spoiled brat and needs to stop treating her parents like they owe her the world. I am sorry that the babies father is no longer with us…but you have to remember she also never told him he was a father! It was up to Farrah to let him know.. there has to be more to it then just her mother telling her not to. Maybe he is not the father at all!
