Over at College Candy, dating coach Kira Sabin posted an article last week about how to learn from your walks of shame. Sabin encourages students to keep their expectations low, and to know what they want out of a one-night stand (i.e., if you’re looking for a long-term relationship, you might not get it).
I think this is pretty solid advice — tempering expectations is often a good — albeit hard-learned — idea. But personally, I didn’t learn from the dreaded Walk until well past college. Maybe I’m a late bloomer, or an idiot, or maybe it just takes…um…a few of them to drive the point home. What about you?
