Product Review: Clinique’s Bottom Lash Mascara

I am a huge skeptic when it comes to new products, especially when said product is for a body part that has never previously needed its own special products. But Clinique’s new bottom lash mascara is actually a pretty great idea. Maybe this is because I’m not a great eye-makeup-putter-onner, but attempts to put mascara on my bottom lashes usually end up with a black smudge under my eye. The Clinique mascara is teeny – about the length of a lipstick, but thinner – and has a smaller brush specifically designed for bottom lashes. (Note to beauty product manufacturers: if a product is super small, I will be less resistant to add it to my already-crowded bag.) The only downside is that I don’t want to shlep two tubes of mascara with me every day – this is a work in progress. But it’s a work in progress that involves me not cleaning mascara smudge off of my undereye area

If I were a makeup procducer, I would make this a double ended tube of mascara – one end being the regular brush, the other the teeny tiny one, saving the ladies of the crowded-makeup-bag-variety the pain of trying to fit in another product.

Avon has this product already, only it has a regular mascara brush on the other end…plus, it’s less than $10!! Look up Jillian Dempsy and it should pop right up.

    Try this product. Way better.
