The Biggest Trend For Fall 2011: Printed Pants

Now that we’ve come out of our NYFW haze and adequately re-hydrated, we’ve begun the project of sifting through hundreds of images from the runways and attempting to parse what will stick and what won’t for Fall 2011.

As always, there were many developing trends this past NYFW. Among them: abstract prints, peplum shapes, extra-wide leg trousers and lots of unusual leather details, all of which we will put into handy, easily-digestable little galleries for you.

The biggest trend was printed pants.

Yup. Loud, bright, often unflattering printed pants. Still, if American designers had their way, Fall 2011 will be all about printed pants. Basically everyone–from the littlest, emerging-est designers to the heavy American hitters like Oscar, Narciso, and DVF–showed some variation on the look.

Don’t believe me? Let’s see.
