Learn To Cook… The ‘Vogue’ Italia Way

Franca Sozzani and co. are rolling out a new feature over at Italian Vogue‘s online home: Vogue Kitchen, which calls itself the famed glossy’s ‘cooking school.’ Sozzani herself introduced the feature via Twitter, promising “Easy, fast, delicious and, above all, healthy recipes.” The posts are comprised of a video and recipe, accompanied by an explanation of why the dish is good for you. In the series’ maiden voyage, host Sofia Villa conducts a quick how-to of (delicious looking) pumpkin-leek soup with a sauteed scallop.

For what it’s worth, non-Italian speakers will have no problem following along, thanks to a slideshow in addition to the sub-titled video (which leads to occasionally hilarious translations like boil the pumpkin in “abundant water”).

Now, if only Steven Meisel did a weekly feature on fashion photography.
