Would You Wear A Tooth Ring?

Would you? What if you convinced your friends to call you “the dentist” in hushed, frightened tones at parties? And then, when people politely asked how you got into dentistry you just casually raised your hand up to tuck a piece of hair behind your ear, subtly flashed them the ring and then replied “I do it… recreationally.”

A lot of people probably have goals in life that don’t involve making strangers thing they’re serial killers, but those people lack imagination. – Etsy

      Sweet Jesus, that is nauseating.

I would not. I don’t even like to look at my baby teeth that my mom has saved in the medicine cabinet – and I know whose mouth they’ve been in.

No, no way. Those teeth look like healthy teeth, (no, I am not lacking imagination just because I don’t like it), which is too much like mutiliation.

And I come form Europe, and the memories of WWII and historical pictures plus collective memory of the Holocaust, and the extractions of gold teeth from Jewish victims… No, too much bad associations. Simply creepy.

I saw the headline and immediately imagined a ring THROUGH my tooth… Owie. Almost didn’t click to see the picture for fear I would puke.
