Friday Style Icon: ’90s Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani’s outfits are admirably consistent, in that she always looks like herself. Thus, it’s hard to criticize even her weaker choices, because they still look like genuine reflections of her style. These days, she’s more into couture than belly shirts, but I still love ’90s Gwen. Here’s a few looks from the trio of No Doubt videos that made Tragic Kingdom so huge, “Just a Girl,” “Spiderwebs,” and “Don’t Speak.”

holy crap the 90s, where wearing a bindi and at the same time made sense.

I’m still having a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that the 90′s took place 20 years ago

That being said, crop-tops should have STAYED in the 90s

Aww, HEART! I miss the 90s, I miss the skater kids, rockabilly in a transitional form, I miss baggy pants and crop tops and floral babydoll dresses with doc’s. I really miss the swing kids and the goth look pre 2000s, too, even the grown ass people wearing ridiculous baby jewelry. Still better than most of what’s hot now, but then the further back you go, the better it gets.

90′s Gwen was so awesome, but I remember being pissed because my boyfriend had a major crush on her.
