What If There Was No Football?

I’m sure you’re all waiting with bated breath to find out what will happen with the NFL lockout saga. I know I am.

To get us through, the folks at Lab42 have created this lovely infographic, which was posted on Mashable. In it, they display the opinions of social media users about the potential lockout, which of course would mean that there would be no football this coming season.

Now, just to be clear, I don’t begrudge anyone the joy of watching football with what I’m about to say, and I know that plenty of women enjoy the sport just as much as men. This isn’t gender-specific. But just for shits and giggles, I’d like to point out what the world would look like if there was no football. I’m looking specifically at the bottom of the image, and the pie chart depicting what people say they will do with their free time if football goes on hiatus.

Note: relationships, it appears, would be strengthened — with both partners and children.

Just sayin’.

Honestly I think if the NFL wasn’t around people would probably just watch NCAA football, arena football, high school football, etc?

Of all the sports, pro football should take up the least amount of your time since games are only on Sundays and Mondays, and the regular season only has 16 games, unlike baseball which has over 150.
