As if people weren’t excited for the sweeping Missoni x Target on the horizon, H&M has snagged one of the more storied design houses in all of Italy: yes, the next H&M designer collaboration will be with Versace.
According to WWD:
Donatella Versace has signed on to be Swedish fashion giant Hennes & Mauritz AB’s annual guest designer. The collection, described as a look back to the Italian brand’s vibrant heritage, is to be sold in 300 H&M stores from Nov. 17. It will feature fashions for men and women along with home items. In addition, Versace has designed a pre-spring collection that will be sold exclusive online in select countries from Jan. 19.
Donatella is already wearing clothes from the collection. Here she is closing yesterday’s Versace men’s show in a studded leather dress, one of the approximately 40 pieces she’ll produce with H&M:
