What Do You Think Of Evan Rachel Wood’s Androgynous New Look?

Former Marilyn Manson paramour and recently professed bisexual Evan Rachel Wood sported a new look at the True Blood Season 4 premiere last night in L.A. Although she’s traditionally known for her long, red locks (I’m willing to forget her brief foray into black dye), last night she debuted a short pixie cut, which she paired with some nicely tailored grey pants and a vest (both by Dolce and Gabbana), as well as some jaunty red suspenders.

It seems like she’s putting her money where her mouth was when she told Esquire Magazine about her love of David Bowie and androgyny in general. Personally, I think she looks quite Puckish. (Is somebody casting a version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream?) She also looks like the butch version of her character on the show. Maybe it’s what the Vampire Queen of Louisiana wears when she hits up the local lesbian bar looking for new sex/blood slaves in order to avoid arousing suspicion that she’s a thousand-year-old vampire? Anyway, some people predictably hate that she got her hair cut short like a boy, saying she’s just trying to get attention and blah, blah, etc. What do you think?

Sorry! This poll is now closed.

      Yep. That works.

The hair looks alright, what kinda irked me was her quote:
“I’m constantly changing, I’m constantly growing. I think I’m a little controversial? I just try and keep some mystery, so hopefully people can’t really put their finger on it.”"
-Esquire. Sounds a little attention-whorey to me.

Preeetttty! I have avoided that show up until now, but that picture is almost enough to make me want to watch!

I like the hair. It makes her look older, if that’s what she wants.

She looks sharp, but I can’t help seeing her as a young David Bowie, who was also trying to pull of the androgynous look, but from the other side of the fence.

it actually makes her look softer and prettier, to my mind
