Future Princess of Monaco Charlene Wittstock’s Best Swimsuit Looks

Prince Albert of Monaco first saw Charlene Wittstock in 2000 when she was partipating in a swim competition in Monaco. Just like Kate Middleton’s see-through dress that first wowed Prince William, Wittstock’s swimwear impressed Prince Albert and he took the South African former Olympian out. Five years later they officially got together and Wittstock found herself adjusting to the pressures of royal life that come with romancing one of the world’s most eligible bachelors. The couple is set to marry this weekend in a ceremony dubbed the quiet Royal Wedding.

Sure Charlene can rock couture evening gowns just like her fellow royal fashionista counterparts, but it is how she flaunts her athletic and healthy figure in a recent Vogue profile and at various charity swim competitions that is worth a look.

I’ve always thought that female swimmers had such an unfeminine build, with the slender hips and big shoulders. My old health teacher used to be a swimmer and she was unrecognizable from a man from behind.

      She *is* gorgeous, though.
