Would You Wear: Unisex Boxer Shorts?

French lingerie designer Yasmine Eslami has gotten serious buzz for her label’s shadowy, sultry campaigns and youthful, feminine under things. Now, she’s branching out with a classic white voile shirt and… boxer shorts. For girls, if you like. According to WWD:

For spring 2012, she also added unisex boxers and a few men’s underwear items, with a view to expanding the line to include men’s accessories. Boxers retail from 40 euros, or $57 at current exchange, and feature creatively placed embroidery details.

Although the debate over boxers and briefs (and boxer-briefs) has raged for ages, it’s never really been a question for women. But… are these female-friendly boxers kind of cute? Or can a lingerie model and great lighting make just about anything work?

Actually yes. I would wear those. They look comfy. And I bet guys would think they’re hot in an “old t-shirt don’t even have to try looking hot by accident” sort of way.

If I were going to wear boxers, I would just buy regular men’s boxers that come in a package of three and cost six bucks. I mean, I wear men’s pajama bottoms, and they work just fine. No need to pay extra for the “unisex” label.
