Lookalikes: Can You Tell Which Of These Neon Bags Is The Bigger Investment?

On the left we have a Proenza Schouler. On the right we have one of those ubiquitous Fluro bags by the Cambridge Satchel Company. They are effectively the same size, each around 11″ long.

The Proenza Bag, an envelope style that mimics their beloved and also ubiquitous PS1, is predictably more expensive, weighing in at $685. The satchel, at current exchange, goes for about $153.

Here’s the catch: the Proenza bag is an iPad case. A $685 iPad case (at least it’s leather?). So the Proenza may be the bigger investment but the Fluro is likely the better one. If you need any more convincing in the Fluro’s direction, you can also guarantee constant attention from street style photographers which is, um, priceless? Also this.

Sorry! This poll is now closed.

The Fluro satchel. The other one looks better, I admit, but I cannot imagine carrying a CLUTCH around town.
