Cosmopolitan Didn’t Hide Adele’s Body On The December Cover

So, this is kind of unexpected: Adele landed the December cover of Cosmopolitan and the magazine actually treated the full figured singer like a normal famous person. Which is to say, here’s Adele all cinched up in leopard print with a sultry eyebrow cocked. The obligatory windswept male fantasy hair is also present, along with a hint of cleavage.

But hey! Aren’t you shocked they didn’t do the standard super-tight portrait whenever anyone above a size 2 is involved? Like, you know… We’d call this progress, but we’re guessing Cosmo is still Cosmo on the inside.

It still looks like they either made her head bigger or her body smaller. I refuse to believe that they didn’t slim her at all, since they do it for even the smallest of celebrities.

Absolutely! She is not a size 8. She is at least 14+ which is still really cute. I don’t get why they have to make her look like a stick.

…the magazine actually treated the full figured singer like a normal famous person.

Which is to say, they photoshopped her to look about 10 sizes smaller.

did anyone else notice 9 / 10 of their issues discussed in the magazine are about sex?

.. or how to make him like you more

Don’t like it? Don’t read it.

Sadly, the photoshopping is the first thing I noticed. Fantastic that they used her whole body; however, I question how much retouching said body underwent. She looks completely different on this cover than I’ve ever seen her (bodywise). I think she’s lovely and talented but either she dropped 50 lbs in less than a month or someone’s been playing around with computer programs. Either way, she’s a fabulous singer. I just don’t understand the “we use plus sized women but then photoshop them so they look less plus sized.” I say either go full out or don’t go at all.
