The Hidden Dangers Of Pornography

Some people (people I don’t agree with, but people nevertheless) think that pornography is psychologically harmful. They believe it corrupts the mind, ruins marriages, and destroys the moral fiber of society.

I think that pornography is generally healthy, fun and awesome, but I have to admit I hadn’t really thought about the potential physical ramifications of viewing it. I thank the young man in this picture for bringing at least one of them to my attention, and indeed, the attention of the world. I hope this can be the beginning of an honest dialogue.

I wonder when porn became something sacred to every liberal. Can one not criticize it in any aspect without being considered a crazy sex-negative conservative obsessed with the ‘moral fiber of society’?

Like it could every replace making love with a woman. If you have a lot of experience, you find it pretty one dimensional.

I don’t know whether it’s nature, nurture, or some occult combination thereof, but my experience in today’s America tells me that men’s pornography is visual and women’s pornography is narrative. Since the monotheistic West (in which I include the Muslim world) is iconoclastic, the visual is stigmatized as itself pornographic no matter its content.
