Beauty Moment Of The Day: Little Girl Paints Doberman’s Nails

This picture is amazing on so many levels.

First of all, that doberman is the fucking jam. Look at him. He doesn’t give a fuck. All he wants to know is why his mani is being interrupted.

Second of all, this is a big fuck you to people who like to insist that certain breeds of dogs are naturally inclined to be vicious. Dobermans were the pit bulls of the 1990s, and yet here’s one exhibiting more patience with a child than a lot of adult humans would have.

Bottom line, this dog is the best, this girl is the best, and the guy who took the picture and posted it on Reddit is not too bad himself.

    I have a friend who is an emergency room facial plastic surgeon in Boston. He said that the only two things that he is afraid of due to what he’s seen are chainsaws and dogs near kids. He has seen more children who have been attacked by dogs than anything else, and almost every single family says the dog was amazing and never showed any signs of attacking.

    This is NOT to say that all dogs are vicious (i love them) but it’s ridiculous to say that some breeds aren’t more vicious because of one photo. All dogs should be taken for what they are- animals that have been bread for certain qualities including companionship and protection.

    I train working dogs.. protection, schutzhund and the like. I have some who would be very good at their jobs, but if they cant pass tests of being stressed out (by kids included), I wont bother with them. I have an extremely dominant male rottweiler who I would trust with my own life and he would let my kid do that to him too… Dogs who know their place know what is or isnt allowed, and that involves training these kinds of dogs!

    This is a sweet photo. Who would think that a fierce and fearless doberman loves to have her nails done. Moreover, a small kid is doing her mani.

    According to http://www.trainpetdog.com/Doberman/about-doberman-pinscher.html, Dobermans are good with children even though they have large and fierce built. So you just did the right idea of having a Dobbie.
