Katy Perry Goes Blond: How Do You Feel?

Katy Perry has undergone a dramatic hair transformation, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t ask you what feelings it brings up for you. We feel good, for the record. The bleach blond and pink, along with the asymmetrical cut, are less burlesque bombshell and more Arizona State co-ed who still has a MySpace page, but as we all know by now Perry can pull off just about any look she wants.

How do you feel?

Eh. Not really feeling it. Like, it’s fine and whatever but I think it ages her a lot.

  • Lindsey

I think she usually looks like an awful cartoon character most of the time, so if she wants to style herself in a way that makes her look like the beautiful woman she is rather than a deranged barbie, it’s a step in the right direction. It’s probably just a transition hairstyle.

She’s not so much going blond as the pink is fading out and she doesn’t bother to touch it up or use a purple shampoo.

    • Jenny

I don’t think so. It’s the roots that are pink. If it was fading out, I would expect the opposite.

  • ?

Dark hair suits her better. Her features look so bland and she so washed out with blonde hair.

  • Nat

She’s actually a natural blonde, so I guess she’s bored of the darker shades for a while.

  • Daisy

I’m actually one of those people who like her hair a bit more quirky. So no, not a huge fan of the blonde.

I feel good. That grey line of new growth that kept seeping into her pink hair color was really starting to creep me out. Onward and upwards. The pink was just weird.

Jenny: (For some reason there’s no reply button to your comment.) Not really, I found my ends faded way faster than my roots when my hair was pink, though I don’t really know why. I just recall some of the same tons when I hadn’t redone my hair in too long and was out of purple shampoo.
