‘Clueless’ Technology Finally An App

clueless technology app

Remember that scene in Clueless where Cher has all of her outfits compartmentalized on the computer so she can scroll through them? Yes?

Thank God. We were talking to an 18 year old who didn’t even know what Clueless was the other week, and it really threw us.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, there’s a new app our friends made called Cloth that will let you record and categorize your outfit just like Cher did! And it will make you popular. Kind of. That is to say, you can collect points and badges for snapping and photos and sharing them. Like foursquare, but for people who care more about looking amazing than being the mayor of their local deli. Here’s a video about how it works, and here’s where you can buy it (for the low, low price of $1.99) and here is the Cloth website where you can learn more. It’s pretty much the best app ever. Don’t be ensembly challenged – get it today.

I’ve been waiting for it since 1995!! Sadly, I have a blackberry not an iPhone :(. Going to get an iPhone next time, though, and then totally getting this app.

Kinda disappointing.. I was expecting it to mix and match like Cher’s did.. also I’m still waiting on an automated closet!

Same here. This app isn’t really like the thing Cher used at all, its just people sharing pictures of clothes with people

“…or make a considerate friend shoot you.” I have a feeling that my friends would consider shooting me if I asked them to photograph all of my outfits for a phone app.

I got the app and I like it. It allows you to photograph outfits that “worked” and then categorize them by occasion (special event, work, casual day, etc.) so that on those mornings when my brain is totally addled and unable to dress myself, I can flip through really quickly and go with what I know works.
