Angelina Jolie’s Oscars Thigh Flash, Explained

In the days since Angelina Jolie made headlines by flashing her thigh at the Oscars, people have been asking “how” and “why.” How could she do such a thing when she has children at home, not watching? Was she trying to send some coded political message? And why on earth would a movie star known for her sexlessness show herself to be in possession of such a prurient thing as a leg?

Get this: according to an anonymous source, Angie did it “for fun.” Come again?

“Angie was vamping it up, no more, nothing less. There was no hidden meaning in what she was doing. The photographers went crazy for her on the red carpet and were screaming for her to ‘Show some leg,’ and so she did.

It was totally unplanned for Angie to do it again when she was presenting, she was having fun, living in the moment, like she always does. She is absolutely oblivious to the controversy and attention the sexy pose has created.”

So there you have it. Sexy movie star has sexy fun by showing some sexy leg, grinning cheesily sexily. Mystery solved!

    I know everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion, so this is just mine…I have never liked Angelina Jolie, for only one reason….and that is…ofcourse the way she came by Brad….very trashy, not lady like, but i hear she enjoys being called things like this, and that she totally gloats about what she did (and I might add)….rather young and beautiful Jen Aniston…so yes, i think it is kind of funny that she GOT sooo much fun made of her, and very ironic that everyone thought she was soooo sexy, turns out Jen wound up aging so much better and Jen’s leg would makes Angie’s look sick…not that it didn’t look pretty sick anyway all stuck out there like a chicken bone…ok…i have hushed now…..

    It makes me laugh that the Victoria’s Secret “fashion show” isn’t scandalous, but a woman who’s been pregnant a couple times (once with TWINS for christ’s sake) flashing some leg…now that’s upsetting.

    People need to get over the whole leg flash thing. It’s just a leg! It’s not like she was flashing her t*ts. I for once love Ange and believe she looks fabulous, much better than any other star on the red carpet. Does she need and attitude fix? Sure, but don’t they all?

    Oh please! her legs look srawny and those bumpy knee caps are gross. She looks anorixic to me. But that is not surprising – she did some pretty weird things throughout her life … That pose looks stupid – she looks as if she will dislocate her hip. Gosh she has turned into a bundle of bones.

    That was very uncharacteristic of her. I mean, she has always been a bit too cool for that sort of thing. And, let’s face it: she doesn’t really need to work that hard to get noticed…LOL. At first I thought maybe she was freaking out over being booted off of Maxim’s–Oh, I dunno–it’s some list they come up with every year. They rank women for the year? I dunno–whatever. Anyway, she’s made the list for years, but was booted off this year (interestingly enough, so was Aniston–how diplomatic of them). I thought, maybe–she was having an “over 35″ crisis or something? But, the more I think about it–the more it looks like plain ol’ fun and games. I think she really was just having a little fun with the press.
