How Many Fashion Magazines Is Too Many Magazines?

Once upon a time, I had a subscription to almost every fashion magazine under the sun. It got to the point that I just couldn’t keep up anymore so I cut my subscriptions way back. These days I have five subscriptions and only one of them is fashion-oriented: Vogue.

While I recycle my New Yorker, New York Magazine, Brooklyn Magazine and National Geographic after I read them, my Vogue, which after a proper reading is full of flagged pages, goes on the shelf with the rest of them. I have been collecting Vogue magazines since I was about 13 or so, and have a ridiculous collection — most of which I don’t even look at again after I’ve made my way through them.

At antique stores you can find me in the magazine section looking for vintage Vogues to add to my collection and friends who know about my love for them, will bring me back obscure ones from abroad or vintage ones they happen to come across in their travels. I don’t know if this makes me a hoarder or a collector, but I like to think it’s the latter.

But every spring, as I do a thorough cleaning of my apartment, I stand before all my magazines with my hand on my hip, wondering if I really do need them. As I said, I rarely go back to them, so technically it doesn’t make sense to keep them all. When I moved into my apartment five years ago the toughest thing for my friend Damien to move were the damn boxes of Vogue magazines up the five flights of stairs. I had to reward him in several rounds of tapas and sangria at Yuca Bar.

I realize I can’t be alone in my mild obsession with fashion magazines, Vogue specifically, but I do wonder how many more of you out there have the same habit. Anyone?

Sorry! This poll is now closed.

I am Doris used every single spell worker on the internet, spent untold amounts of money and discovered they are all fakes…i was the fool though; doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. In the end, I decided that I wanted a tarot reading to know what my future held for me; I contacted a woman who lives locally to me and she told me about a man named (priests olalude abija); he does not advertise on the internet, has another job for income, has no set prices, makes no false promises and refuses to help anyone that cannot be helped and even helps for free sometimes, he will give you proof before taking money. He is a wonderful man and he was the only person who actually gave me real results. I really hope he doesn’t mind me advertising his contact on the internet but I’m sure any help/ extra work will benefit him.contact him as oduakar1@live.com He travel sometimes.love marriage, finance, job promotion ,lottery Voodoo, poker voodoo, gambling voodoo, golf Voodoo,Law & Court case Spells, money voodoo, weigh loss voodoo, any sicknesses voodoo, cancer voodoo,Trouble in marriage,it’s all he does Hope this helps everyone that is in a desperate situation as I once was; I know how it feels to hold onto something and never have a chance to move on because of the false promises and then to feel trapped in wanting something
    more.
