Two big stories today in the world of unapologetic frivolity: Miley Cyrus hasn’t had your attention for a few days and she’s not quite in nipslip country yet so she dyed her hair blonde, while “country cutie” Taylor Swift denies her heritage and actually toned down the blonde, enough to even qualify as a light brunette.
First things first: Miley Cyrus tweeted over the weekend that she has to do duckface in ever photo now because she’s no longer one of them cerebral dark haireds, we guess. Here’s a look:

Next up, Taylor Swift’s latest round of images from her hilariously controversial CoverGirl campaign have landed and they feature the world’s blondest blonde person as… not blonde:
Pretty much everything we know about Taylor Swift is summed up in her blondeness, so this is unsettling new territory for us. Moreover, it’s hard to tell how well it works on her around all that Photoshopping (unless the dye removed her pores also).
