Zooey Deschanel Latest Target Of Plastic Surgery Rumors

Last week, Kristen Stewart got hit with rumors of a (very out-of-character) breast augmentation. This week, Zooey Deschanel is under the same scrutiny for some facial retooling: Deschanel walked the red carpet at last night’s Teen Choice Awards, prompting some bloggers to wonder about the actress using lip fillers. That’s her on the red carpet above, though it’s just as likely that the newfound plumpness is the result of lip liner. Or lip pursing.

    I did not recognize her and it has nothing to do with her lips. Her nose looks different. The hair is styled slightly differently but def the nose.

      Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I didn’t even notice the lips. I think her whole face looks different somehow, especially the nose. I hope she’s alright.

    Meh. I think it’s just a matter of how she’s wearing her lipstick. Also, there are lip plumping lipsticks on the market. I have no idea if they work but there are many other reasons why her lips might look fuller than plastic surgery.

    I think she looks like she has been crying. :( Her lips are probably just the results of lip gloss. Matte vs. Gloss. NBD.

    This just isn’t her normal make-up. Her lipstick not only over shoots her actual lips, but is crooked on one side. Also, as Ashley says, matt vs. gloss.

    I agree that her whole face is off, maybe Botox (or a face lift?) and cheek fillers, something about her nose and eyes definitely seems off. I always liked her and I hope she doesn’t end up looking like Meg Ryan, Priscilla Presley, etc.

    I haven’t heard any rumor what so ever about her recent lip augmentation, but when I saw the new season first episode last night, I noticed WRIGHT AWAY there was something different with her face, and if I may say, kind of OFF! She can barely smile naturally! Her smile became so forced! She totally had lip surgery. It is a shame! She was so pretty! Now she looks like a fake doll!

    whyyyy zooey? i thought you were very cool for being a naturally made up person! don’t do it again, you are being brainwashed by hollywood! you don’t need any of these “enhancements”. you are hilarious and great- these changes are distracting & detracting.

    Her eyes look different. And her nose. There’s just something … off about her face. It’s like it’s not coming into focus. Her whole face is less expressive. Expressiveness was her signature. She’s all of, what? 25? 30, max? Goodness, this has officially gotten out of hand.

    She’s made a big mistake – she surgically removed what made her face special.

    Man, she had such an attractive face and an awesome look about her. Now, she’s gone by the wayside with the likes of Anna Faris. If in fact she did have surgery, that is. Don’t mess with what God gave you!!
