Tracy Reese Confirms That You, Too, Can Soon Own Michelle Obama’s DNC Speech Dress

For those of you who fell in love with Michelle Obama‘s Tracy Reese dress she wore during her Democratic National Convention speech, but cried the tears of a thousand rivers when you found out that it was a custom design you couldn’t have, you can now breathe a sigh of relief. Yes, the Tracy Reese dress is about to be available for you to own, too.

Yesterday on Today, Reese confirmed that her team of designers were hard at work trying to get the dress out there for the purchasing. Although it was one of several custom made one-of-a-kind dresses that were sent to the First Lady for her to choose from, the plan was to make the dress available eventually. However, the hoopla took even Reese by surprise so now she and her team are trying to get it on the shelves ASAP.

But how much will this particular Tracy Reese dress set you back? As she told Today:  ”Under $500, so affordable for some.”

Of course, that could mean just a measly one dollar under $500, so that isn’t exactly cheap for the majority of the middle class who are planning on voting President Barack Obama back into office. But hey, it was a special occasion.

Some people have prom, others have weddings and some have Democratic National Conventions. A girl is allowed to get herself all gussied up for such a thing. Am I wrong?

Give me another stimulus payment and I promise to spend it on clothes.

The dress is pretty and the First Lady looks fabulous in it; but she looks fabulous in anything; she’s got it like that! But for me, I’d need to try it on and most lilely have it altered. Therefore, I ‘d have to pay for alterations.

My sugesstions to Tracy Reese is that she price the dress a little bit better than under $500.00. Under $150.00 is more realistic for the middle class.
