Ann Romney Transforms Into A Hell’s Angel For Her Appearance On Jay Leno Last Night

Last night, Ann Romney made her first appearance on late night television for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. There was a lot of weirdness, but I think her outfit pretty much summed it up: her tiered leather skirt and matching jacket (look closely, they seriously match) really just make me wonder how she manages to ride a motorcycle in such a short skirt. It seems Mrs. Romney reserves her darker (sexier?) looks for late at night, as if “psychedelic flowers in the morning, leather skirt-suit in the evening” is the new “no white after Labor Day.” Or maybe, like Romney’s entire campaign, she’s using her wardrobe to keep us wondering, “WTF?”

Her general awkwardness was also manifested in the stilted, rehearsed sentences she parroted to Leno. This bit is really a gem:

“I love the fact that we have the first African-American President [though presumably she didn’t vote for him]. That means to me that we’re leaving prejudices behind. If Mitt were elected, that would mean more of the same.”

To be fair, I guess a lot of people have weird prejudices about Mormons. But comparing their “plight” to the historical oppression and exclusion of African-Americans in America, seems, well, as odd as a leather jacket with over-sized pearl buttons.

As usual, though, her hair did look great.

A woman who has never worked a day in her life can’t make her husband seem “in touch” with the American people. Is there any doubt a Romney administration would favor the rich and increase the income gap in our country? Mitt is a pariah in Mormon Clothing and will stop at nothing to expand an empire of greed for the rich in this country by expanding tax cuts for the 1% of the wealthiest Americans. He’s out to gut the Middle Class for every red cent he can get. Will his sacred Mormon underwear grant him the protection and money to buy this election? See for yourself as Mitt dons his tighty-whities sent down from the Good Lord Himself at

Ugh. The persecution complex. Reasonable Mormons everywhere are hanging their head in shame.
