Meet Ukrainian Teenager Anastasiya Shpagina, Real Life Anime Girl

Teenager Anastasiya Shpagina becomes real life anime girl

Another day, another young woman trying to be a real life version of an already-unsettling cartoon thing. First it was the so-called “Russian Barbie doll,” then came Dakota Rose with her huge eyes and doll-like features, then it was Venus Angelic, who… also had huge eyes and doll-like features. The latest to the fold, however, may have one-upped them all by sheer commitment; meet Anastasiya Shpagina, real life anime girl. It’s actually pretty uncanny:

Along with maintaining brilliant-hued shades of long anime hair, 19-year-old Shpagina spends a full hour a day on her makeup, which involves placing false eyelashes and lots and lots of eyeliner. She’s even whittled her 5’2” frame down to around 90 lbs., such that her waist is in appropriately astonishing proportion to the rest of her:

Surprisingly, Shpagina hasn’t faced any rumor of weird surgeries (like rib removal), but the Daily Mail reports she plans to undergo some sort of procedure to permanently make her eyes appear more like an anime character’s. Oh, and she goes by the Japanese name Fukkacumi.

Also really surprising? Shpagina is actually buddies with aforementioned real life Barbie Valeria Lukyanova (she of the plastic-y skin and eerily lifeless eyes). There’s even photos of them on Facebook, being unsettling together:

Well, that satisfies this month’s “X as thing X shouldn’t resemble.” What’s next? Just once we’d like to see something not completely disquieting. “Meet the young elephant who’s become a real-life Snuffaluffagus,” maybe.

If I saw her in real life I would probably scream and run away. Living dolls are a nightmare, not a fantasy! I thought Teddy Ruxpin was trying to kill me in my sleep, but at least I knew I could over power the little fucker.

How come you don’t see dudes trying to become Stretch Armstrong, GI Joe, or one of the TMNT?

      • Rich

Teddy Ruxpin – just laughed so hard beer came out of my nose

    • Pants

That waist is compliments of a corset or… more likely, photoshop.

Also– this girl is fucking ridiculous. I’m getting a rage-on.

    • Kat

What a waste of f*cking time! Get a life, a job and do something with your lives! They look creepy as F*ck. I suppose next we’ll see more guys who try to look like Ken or Superman? There is that guy who had surgery to look like superman… There are some f*cked up people out there….

These girls are winners, unlike some of you with your foul language and lack of class. Just look in the mirror, and compare yourself with these beauties, if you dare.

Personally, i find it slightly terrifying, because the concept of living dolls is very Chucky-esque to me. And yes, this is dangerous as hell, what with the starving herself for inhuman proportions and whatnot. But I am super curious about one thing…what kind of guys hit on them, do you think? Have they ever commented on the reactions they get? No judgment on this, i’m seriously just curious.
Because my guess is anime fetishists. But i’m curious to see if this is actually appealing to some people. Or if they even show enough authentic self to attract anybody who’s interested in something other then this elaborate costuming.

    • No Way

That CANNOT be her real name.

    • Eve

Wouldn’t becoming a real-life Snuffaluffagus mean the elephant had lost its ears? :(

    • Aly

Goodness people stop judging them. So they like dolling up (pun intended). I’m sure everyone has some seemingly weird fascination or another.. too many shoes, an unhealthy obsession with football.. whatever. Doesn’t mean its BAD just cos YOU don’t like it. Have some respect.

      • amanda

well said, aly. you have to wonder about people’s maturity level. seems to me they are doing something with their lives. just because it may not involve a job doesn’t mean its any less fulfilling to THEM.

    • Herc7

She is beautiful and makes life interesting. Regular people are boring. I love her, and appreciate the time and effort it takes to make this stunning transformation.

    • maia

ahhh! its disgusting~ ewwwww!!!! grose ladyz

    • Betty Lynne

Completely beautiful. Can’t believe how jealous people get like the comments below.

It’s sad that they have to starve themselves and get plastic surgery. It’s not even there chests, they just have plastic under there skin. Have to wear fake hair, have contacts in at all time. ran away from who they really are
