The latest issue of American Vogue gives us a sneak peek into Vogue creative director Grace Coddington‘s memoir, and from what I’ve read of it so far, it’s absolutely fascinating. It starts with Grace leaving her home in Wales at age 17 to go to London and be a model in 1958(!), and goes on to detail many stories of the naughty, bohemian, fun life she had there, St. Tropez, and elsewhere. It also contains many surprising facts. Here are six of them (all taken from the excerpt), plus the great vintage photos from Grace’s life that Vogue included with it. If the rest of the book is as good as this part, I’m going to burn through it in a week.
