GIF Is The Word Of The Year! These Are Some GIFs.

GIF has been named Word of the Year by the Oxford American Dictionary! GIFs! Those little moving picture things!

According to Yahoo:

GIF celebrated a lexical milestone in 2012, gaining traction as a verb, not just a noun,” said Katherine Martin, head of the U.S. dictionaries program at Oxford. “The GIF has evolved from a medium for pop-cultural memes into a tool with serious applications including research and journalism, and its lexical identity is transforming to keep pace.”

Right, okay, yes, sure, I thought GIFs were mostly just pictures of cats jumping after rainbows and whatnot. To be honest, I don’t much care for them. I don’t care for these new-fangled moving pictures.

So I decided to make a post of some nice ones, to celebrate. I guess I care a lot for good SEO, and I really can’t follow this General Petraeus scandal nearly well enough to write about it.

So, these are courtesy of Ashley, because I hate GIFs. All that movement on the screen. You know what else I hate? Those picture books that you flip through really fast and then the picture moves. They make my eyes hurt. Or possibly my brain because they always give me a headache. They make some stuff hurt, basically. Some head stuff.

GIFHahaha, penis.
