Retro Snap: Have You Seen Daniel Craig With Long Hair?

This is probably the most un-James Bond you will ever see Daniel Craig looking.

According to Buzzfeed, it’s from the mid-90′s, when he was staring in Our Friends in the North.  And According to Wikipedia in the show:

Each of the nine episodes of the serial takes place in the year for which it is named; 1964, 1966, 1967, 1970, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1987, and 1995, for the most part representing a UK election year.[2] The episodes follow the four main characters and their changing lives, careers and relationships against the backdrop of the political and social events in the United Kingdom at the time… Telling the story of four friends from the city of Newcastle upon Tyne in North East England over 31 years from 1964 to 1995, it also brought in real political and social events specific to Newcastle and Britain as a whole during the era portrayed, including general elections, police and local government corruption, the UK miners’ strike (1984–1985) and the Great Storm of 1987. Publicity material for the serial used the tagline “Three decades, four friends and the world that shaped their lives”.

That… actually doesn’t sound stupid. That sounds like a really enjoyable show that I would almost certainly watch. Now that we’ve established that, let’s photoshop zany hairstyles onto this picture of Daniel Craig. I have no photoshop skills, but if I did, I would doubtless begin with a clown’s wig.

Did you find this while obsessing over Daniel Craig after seeing Skyfall? Possibly while looking for stuff like “Daniel Craig sex scene” on youtube? No? Ok, that’s just me then.

It is full on amazing that this was not the case. Do you think Daniel Craig is the new George Clooney? I kind of do.

Yeah, he probably is. The old George Clooney is the new Robert Redford, too. I never liked George though.
