Last night at NYC’s Madison Square Garden, many famous people gathered for a good cause: the 12.12.12 Concert benefiting the Robin Hood Relief Fund to aid victims of Hurricane Sandy. Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Kanye West, the Who, Alicia Keys and more performed (Keys–apparently without irony–prompted concert-goers to raise their cellphones during her performance’s emotional climax).
Here’s what attendees wore on the red carpet.
Well, Blake Lively is the same person she always is on the red carpet: cheesy hair, a cheesy dress and dumb Louboutins. These, particularly so.
Joan Smalls only recently recovered the ability to walk. Since this is a concert, we think leather pants and a sweater are fine attire, but… that sweater is silly. Also, open toed booties when it’s cold outside?
Karlie Kloss tried to do that model thing where she breezes in wearing jeans and makes everyone look overdressed… Unfortunately, it didn’t work and she just looks kind of underdressed.
Not as much as Chanel Iman, though.
Katie Holmes looks uncomfortable. She’s getting no help from her super awkward dress.
This must be a weird angle because Olivia Wilde‘s arms look like tyrannosaur arms (which we don’t think is usually the case). We like waxed denim but we dislike her shoes (and, judging by the painful arch of her foot, we’d bet she does too).
Zosia Mamet, everyone!
