Gallery: The Best (Worst?) Of The ‘Nice Guys Of OkCupid’ Tumblr

Don’t you just love Nice Guys? As previously discussed, a “Nice Guy” is not actually a nice guy, but a guy who thinks women are shallow bitches who get off on withholding the sex they owe him because he is too nice, or something. In an effort to expose and ridicule these messed up attitudes, someone started a blog compiling the “Nice Guys of Ok Cupid,” with their pictures and everything. Nice.

I have gone back and forth on “public shaming of individuals” as a means of combatting systemic problems. I’m not sure how effective it is, but I still don’t have a problem with it here, because these are adults who should know that everything you put on the Internet could very well pop up somewhere else on the internet. Plus, I don’t have a ton of sympathy for guys who answer “yes” to the question “do you feel there are any circumstances in which a person is obligated to have sex with you?” Maybe this blog and others like it will help these guys realize they’re thinking like rapists and cut it out before they actually rape someone, which I think we can all agree is not a very nice thing to do at all? PS: FRIEND ZONE.

1

Selective homophobia.

2

Thinking someone owes you sex is soooo nice.

3

A real "helpless romantic," this one.

4

...or it could be the fact that you are a homophobe.

5

Dislikes men who only see women as a means for procreation, but would not let his girlfriend get an abortion.

6

Clearly an unsuccessful student of the Mystery Method.

7

If women are so superficial and disgusting, why bother, bro?

8

You know what nice guys don't do? Call their girlfriends sluts. (Also: his Ryan Gosling-esque looks prove that you don't have to be ugly to be a Nice Guy.)

9

Another tragic waste of cuteness.

10

"I told you so" is totally what a nice person would say to someone dealing with the aftermath of an abusive relationship.

It seems like “nice” is the guy version of a “good personality”.

At least you wouldn’t have to waste a bunch of time getting to know them. All you have to do is read a few sentences to figure out how dickish they are.

So much entitlement & bitterness. You’d think they’d at least try to hide it?

      “you should defiantly message me”

I would certainly be defying my deepest needs and desires!

I am starting to have mixed feelings about these kind of website. We think that websites like “is anyone up” or the dirty are completely awful because they slut-shame, but yet we revel in sites that shame men for being creepy or an asshole, quit bullying u guise!

There’s an important difference between the two kinds of shaming. It’s that there’s nothing wrong with being a slut, and there is something wrong with believing that women owe you sex.

Some of those quotes used against those guys are against their choice religion. To think women judge a guy badly based on his religion… These women are utter scum

When you let self-entitled little brats loose on the internet, you get feminist shit like this. I hope they have a million debacles like this. Let the world know how you really feel so they can laugh you back where you belong.
