Ebay User Accidentally Uploads Naked Photo With Her ASOS Yellow Skater Dress

In one of the more mortifying things to happen to a person on the internet in recent years, an Ebay user has accidentally offered up a nude selfie along with the dress she was trying to sell.

The unnamed user was trying to take flattering shots of her ASOS “yellow skater dress” when she accidentally caught her bottomless figure in the frame. Apparently unaware of the nudity, she uploaded the photo and priced the dress at £15.99.

The image quickly went viral and now bids have now topped £150,000. Which, of course, strikes some as a little fishy. Per Gawker:

The Twitter hashtag #ebayyellowskaterdresssoon began to trend in the UK, leading some to call shenanigans on the whole thing.

“Possibly the best use of viral advertising to date?” one user asked.

That’s entirely possible, but the girl at least appears to be real: She updated the item’s page with a new photo of herself, covered this time, and added the tagline “#ebayyellowskaterdress as seen by thousands. never worn naked.”

Either way, the auctioneer doesn’t seem too traumatized by the whole thing–the updated photo is also a bottomless shot, you just can’t seen anything NSFW.

Speaking of which, here’s the original:

Also, though the auction page is finally down… according to HuffPo, the user’s handle is “sugartit_2.”

I feel like this was a misguided attempt to multitask, but I applaud her efforts.

Can’t wait to see her sell that bra.

Why pay more? Don’t get it, it’s still just an ugly dress with an ugly naked girl. Hey, if you suddenly want to pay more that’s your choice, I guess I wasn’t born with the sucker gene…lol

I imagine she wasn’t too traumatized because its a female body. If you’re over a certain age, you’ve seen one so why get all up in the air about it? I would have taken the highest bidder, got payment & sent them the dress lol
