Today, the Rihanna cover of Rolling Stone was revealed and, let’s be honest, she looks rather stunning. This is not really a shocker, as she’s easily one of the most attractive celebrities at the moment (in my opinion, at least). What’s more of a surprise, however, is that it was shot by Terry Richardson and somehow doesn’t look disgusting, creepy or overall unpleasant in the least. Sure, Rihanna looks a bit like a lion whose just lifted her head up from chewing on a gazelle (expressionwise, though I imagine if there was spaghetti this would change), but it’s a very pretty shot that, fortunately, does not contain any sign of Richardson in it unlike quite a bit of his work.
Richardon posted this photo of himself with Rihanna, though, so one can only assume that he was starting to slowly descend into darkness due to a lack of photos with half-clothed young women (to be fair, Rihanna does the same if she doesn’t post half-clothed pictures so I guess it was a win-win):

At this point, I think The Gloss has generally established that photographer Terry Richardson is gross, creepy and weird. It might seem suffice to just call him one of those things, but it’s not. He ruins things too often to mince words. Fortunately, he managed to shoot a cover wherein his subject doesn’t look like she is six seconds away from calling Chris Hansen. Good for him, or something.
