One of the most important red carpet of the year is upon us: the Grammy Awards. The music industry’s biggest night will feature plenty of huge artists performing, self-congratulatory recipient speeches and, of course, plenty of fashion. And since we all know how much you love to see celebrities wearing gorgeous, ridiculous and occasionally terrible styles, we here at The Gloss will be giving you tons of looks live from the 55th Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Just as we did for the SAG Awards two weeks ago, this list will be updated through the evening, so keep checking back for more looks in the next couple of hours. Also, be sure to check our Twitter for live updates and our take on the goings on of the Grammy’s.

Kelly Osbourne took a page out of Kim Kardashian’s look and opted for cutouts tonight. I have to admit, I’m a fan of her long purple ponytail (massive improvement from the Teletubby look!).
Janelle Monae wins at everything because of course she does, and everybody knows it.
Singer Kaya Jones went for red lips and a red dress.

TV personality Giuliana Rancic chose an all-over monochromatic look.

I’m not sure what singer Kimbra is wearing, but I feel like she should be serving everyone absinthe at The Edison.
Cutouts appear to be the choice of plenty tonight, including supermodel Karlie Kloss.

I may be completely alone in this, but I’m totally obsessed with Keltie Colleen‘s bright, swishy gown (though I’m not quite as keen on the canary shoes).

It’s metallic everything for Carly Rae Jepsen this evening.

Carrie Underwood went for the same silhouette with an ornate pattern.
While I appreciate Ashanti‘s enthusiasm, is it just me or can you see her underwear?
Not to be upstaged by Ashanti, singer-songwriter Lila Downs went for the Wear Absolutely Everything look.
If Godzilla and Poison Ivy had a child, it would look like Florence Welch‘s dress. This is not necessarily a bad thing.
Alexa Chung set herself apart by choosing a much shorter hemline than most of the looks seen on people tonight.

I’m not sure what LMFAO’s RedFoo is wearing, but I can’t help noticing his extremely toned and smooth calves. And also how it is a little endearing to see guys be fashion disasters, too.

Singer Skylar Grey went for the side boob, also showcasing her lovely rib tattoo.

Is it odd that I enjoy Esperanza Spalding‘s outfit primarily because it reminds me of a geode?

Bonnie McKee wore a dress. And did her hair.
Upon the realization that she and Kaya Jones had picked out the same dress, Natasha Bedingfield put hers through a sandblaster and wore it anyway.
John Mayer wore Willy Wonka and weed for the evening.
In a shocking turn of events, Taylor Swift wore a long, flowing white gown.
A floral tea length dress with matching shoes were adorned by Adele.
Wiz Khalifa and an expecting Amber Rose looked pretty darn cute together. Rose never fails to remind people that pregnant women can wear tight, glamorous dresses, too, and don’t just need to don sparkly muumuus.
Miranda Lambert chose a simple black floor-length gown.
SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE A JENNIFER LOPEZ‘S RIGHT LEG TWITTER RIGHT NOW.
Kelly Rowland wore black structured black fashion tape (but seriously, I am in awe of how dresses like this stay in place when I can’t even get my bra strap to not fall down on occasion).

All the boob-revealing cutouts are on the carpet tonight! I can’t entirely explain why (I’ll leave that to Ashley’s best/worst dressed lists tomorrow) but I both like and hate Katy Perry‘s dress. I think I’m just weird and obsessed with mint ice cream.
Beyonce‘s fiercest “Did you guys see what I did at the Super Bowl?” face.

Speaking of fierce, Solange Knowles forces us to inquire, “How the hell can one family have so many good looking people in it?”
Nicole Kidman‘s sheer gold leaf gown sort of matched her hair (and, in this photo, her eyes).

Actress Kat Dennings chose a knee-length printed dress and quite possibly my favorite lipstick of the evening.

Is the bottom of Alicia Keys‘ gown confusing anybody else?

Oh look, it’s Kate Middleton! I mean, Allison Williams. Because they look so alike, or something.
Undoubtedly, the Internet will be abuzz with talk of Rihanna‘s very long, very sexy, very red gown.
