The White House has released the new official portrait of Michelle Obama for President Obama‘s second term. This time around, she’s wearing her polarizing “midlife crisis” bangs (her phrase!).
The portrait was taken by Chuck Kennedy in the Green Room of the White House. The First Lady is shown in a navy dress with eggplant panels, elbow-length sleeves and a strand of pearls (though not the same strand she wore in her 2009 portrait, below). Lip gloss and lots of eyeliner finish the look.
