Michelle Obama lands her second Vogue cover this April–but you knew that already–and now we can all get a glimpse of it. Up there is the First Lady as shot by Annie Leibovitz, wearing a sleeveless blue and plum sheath by Reed Krakoff (apparently one of her own pieces) and boasting her faux-controversial new bangs. Mrs. Obama was styled by Vogue‘s fashion editor Tonne Goodman and appears alongside her husband in the magazine.
We’re normally firmly pro-Michelle Obama in all categories but feel she looks a little stiff here–maybe from too much “Chest out! Shoulders back!” instruction from the Vogue team. That said, we really like the dress, the makeup, and the smile.
